Im still here . . . . .

Hooley dooley I didnt realise when the last time I blogged was! Over a whole year ago!! Extremely slack isnt the word lol.
So very much has been going on in my personal life that crafting and blogging has taken very much a back seat to life since my last post, but not to worry things are getting much better, things are falling into place and more importantly im feeling happy and content enough to start having the brain space to begin crafting again. In saying that ive been quite busy with my crafting but only working on cards for birthdays and gifts - everything else craft wise hasnt gotten very far at all lol.
So I thought while I was on the blog I should at least quickly post some of the projects ive been completing for family and friends special occassions :-) JUST need to remember how to post everything lol . . . .

In one of my last posts I posted that I was very lucky to have a friend on the Kaisercraft Design Team who had used a pic of my beautiful youngest in one of her layouts. I was very very nicely surprised to open up a Kaisercraft mini catalogue and find another layout featuring my beautiful girl with a pic that I had taken!!! My friend once again has done a brilliant job with this layout I just love it to bits and my then 3 yo Kaity was so excited to see herself in the catalogue :-)

These pics are in no particular order but just what I found when I was going through my saved photos. The card below I made for one of the girls at work (I work in childcare part time). Its using Kasiercraft's Utopia collection (which im not sure might be now deleted???) and inspired from their monthly mag. When I first saw these papers I must admit I wasnt a big fan of - but then when I saw the card made up in the mag I quite enjoyed the look of them. And of course as it turns out I absolutely loved working with the colours!! I used the 6x6 paper pad, kaisercraft cross grain ribbon, a kasier rub on and of course kaisercraft's bling flourish that I think just makes it. I also stitched it on the sewing machine. The birthday girl loved it as did all the others who took a turn to sign it. I was very please with the finished product aswell (which doesnt happen very often lol)

Coming up to christmas last year I was entirely UNprepared for the whole season. Realising one night that I hadnt even made the school teachers a card I stayed up very late one morning (until 2am!) making these three cards. Again I used Kasiercraft papers (Im pretty sure there is an obsession there! lol) Mint Twist the collection is called. I think this would have to be my most favourite christmas collection ever I adore all the bright colours and the cute little rub ons and collectables. Since christmas my local Spolight store has had all their christmas stock going out for less than half price and as a result I now have ALOT of mint twist papers all ready for this year lol. The stamp is from Stampin' Up (Frosty Friends).  My two school kids teachers and their chaplain absolutely loved the cards and were so genuinly greatful to receive handmade cards. I was very very pleased with how the cards turned out I didnt want too busy just nice simple plain cards and I think I achieved that objective :)

Wow so many more projects I can show you all but I think I'll stop for the moment, otherwise I'll be here all day and most importantly be probably boring the heck out of you lol. I hope to come back in the next few days and show you and to tell you about some more of the things Ive been up to and most importantly learning :-)

Until then I hope youve enjoyed taking a peak at my world

Happy crafting -xx-
